(Fate/Grand Order)は、国内累計2700万ダウンロード、世界累計7200万ダウンロードを超えるスマートフォン向けゲームアプリ。7月に(Fate/Grand Order Fes.2023)の開催と、イベントにて公開される全編新作のアニメPV(Memorial Movie 2023)制作が発表されており、今回公開されたのは先行カットを使用したTVCMの第1弾MV(Tale Ver.)となる。

配信1周年でダウンロード数700万を突破したスマートフォン向けゲームアプリ(Fate/Grand Order（以下FGO）)のアニメ化が決定した。2016年末に長編テレビスペシャルとして放送される。
(FGO)はTYPE-MOONが展開するゲーム(Fate)シリーズのスマートフォン向けゲーム版。(Fate)シリーズは、PC用ゲーム(Fate/stay night)に端を発する作品群で、魔術が実在する世界を舞台に、歴史・伝説上の偉人や神々が魔術師（マスター）に使役される英霊（サーヴァント）として蘇り、願いを叶える万能の願望機(聖杯)を奪いあう壮絶な戦いを描く。(FGO)では、シリーズキャラクターが多数登場するオリジナルストーリーが展開。人類が2017年で絶滅することを証明してしまった人理継続保障機関(カルデア)は、絶滅の原因と仮定された04年の冬木市を調査し、特異点を解明あるいは破壊する聖杯探索任務・グランドオーダーを発令する。
メインキャストは、(Fate)シリーズの熱烈なファンとして知られ(FGO)のニコニコ生放送特番などにも出演している島﨑信長が、主人公の藤丸立香（ふじまるりつか）を演じ、デミ・サーヴァントとなるマシュ・キリエライト役を(Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活)の高橋李依が担当。そのほか、フォウ役として(Fate/stay night)でセイバー（アルトリア・ペンドラゴン）を演じた川澄綾子が出演する。オルガマリー・アニムスフィアには米澤円、ロマニ・アーキマンには鈴村健一、レフ・ライノ―ルには杉田智和が配役されている。
制作に携わるスタッフは、(GOSICK ‐ゴシック‐)の難波日登志監督のもと、脚本を(枕男子)の関根アユミ、キャラクターデザインを(夜ノヤッターマン)の後藤圭佑、音楽を(ルガーコード1951)の川﨑龍が担当する。制作は(マギ シンドバッドの冒険)のLay-duceが行う。

It has been decided that the smartphone game app “Fate/Grand Order (FGO)”, which has exceeded 7 million downloads on its first anniversary, will be made into an anime. It will be aired as a full-length TV special at the end of 2016.
“FGO” is a smartphone game version of the “Fate” series of games developed by TYPE-MOON. The “Fate” series is a group of works that originated from the PC game “Fate/stay night”, and is set in a world where magic actually exists, where great historical and legendary figures and gods are used by magicians (masters). The story depicts a fierce battle between heroes who are revived as servants and compete for the “Holy Grail,” an all-purpose wish machine that can grant wishes. “FGO” features an original story featuring many characters from the series. The staff involved in the production was directed by Hitoshi Nanba of “GOSICK”, the script was written by Ayumi Sekine of “Makura Danshi”, the character design was done by Keisuke Goto of “Yono Yatterman”, and the music was composed by “Luger Code 1951″. Ryu Kawasaki will be in charge. It will be produced by Lay-duce, who also worked on “Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad.”
